‘Without Thinking’

The inspiration for these two leather products comes from Naoto Fukasawa, my favorite designer. He has a theory of design “A good design should blend seamlessly with its surroundings and let the user discover its function instinctively. The Japanese designer calls this design philosophy “Without Thought.”

Process of making

This is a handmade product project, and since I was very fond of handmade at the time, it was my first attempt. From leather selection and proofing to skin tailoring and sewing, I was guided by professional teachers and completed.

Hand-made has a unique charm, and I have been immersed in it in this process.
